Williams & Humbert Canasta Cream

Williams & Humbert has been crafting award-winning Sherries since 1877. The company was founded in Jerez de la Frontera by two intrepid Englishmen, and today Williams & Humbert is internationally recognized for the quality of its Sherry portfolio. The winery is located in the sherry triangle, a region with a unique microclimate that is ideal for Sherry production.

This particular Sherry is a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez grapes. It is a sweet Oloroso style, aged for over 5 years using the traditional solera system (a process of gradual oxidative aging). 

A "true crowd pleaser," with a sugar content of 132 grams per litre, Canasta is the top-selling Cream Sherry in Spain. In the glass, it displays a mahogany colour and offers aromas of dried nuts with hints of raisins and brown sugar. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with warm, persistent flavours.
