Collection: Hungary
Centuries ago Hungary was one of the most important wine producers in the world. However, an outbreak of phylloxera in the 1880s, world wars and a Soviet occupation meant that a lot of work had to be done to rebuild Hungary as a wine making country. Hungary is undoubtedly best know for its sweet Tokaji but there are plenty of dry red and whites being made, the fresh and crisp Furmint white is growing in popularity.
