Black cherry. Black-cherry juice. Spiked with a tablespoon of Parma-violet powder. And purple-grape sherbet. And blueberry wine gums. Marzipan. No tannins – just racing lines of spritz. Crazy stuff. Shouldn't be wine. I'm sure Heston Blumenthal could do something with this, serving it alongside snail ice cream or savoury upside-down stollen … or something. It's crazy stuff but I can't help liking it.
