Reichsrat von Buhl is a prestigious German winery with over 150 years of family ownership. Since its 1849 founding, it has maintained a reputation for excellence, focusing on terroir-driven wines from top Deidesheimer and Forster vineyards in the Pfalz region. The winery's timeless style prioritizes origin over trends. As a certified organic producer, von Buhl champions sustainable viticulture and exemplary German winemaking.
The Reserve Brut embodies a consistent house style, blending various reserve wines to achieve a classic, non-vintage Brut. These reserve wines, developed like traditional sparkling wines, undergo extended lees aging in both wood and stainless steel. The final cuvée combines young sparkling base wine with Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay components, some oak-aged, resulting in a blend of approximately two-thirds Pinot Blanc and one-third Chardonnay.
This Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay blend offers a softer alternative to the Riesling Brut. It presents fruity notes of juicy pear, tangerine, and hazelnut. The palate features a delicate creaminess, followed by a vibrant yet well-integrated acidity and a lingering finish.
