Despite the especially challenging weather conditions that the 2019 vintage threw up, the Bannockburn Pinot Noir is still, somehow, a masterpiece. Mid-weight, with brooding waves of cherry, herbs and spices that waft over the palate, there's a firm and powerful tannin framework that underpins everything with purpose, providing a real sense that although drinking wonderfully well now, it will clearly continue to grow into its bones over the coming decade and more.
