Torabhaig Allt Gleann

Allt Gleann is the second release in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, highlighting the evolving signature style of elegantly rugged peat. This expression is crafted from a blend of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, and matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and re-fill whisky casks. The nose features woody tobacco, vanilla shortbread, earthy peat smoke, lemon zest, smoked shellfish, heather, honey, barley sugars, and sea air. On the palate, bolder peat merges with coastal tar, roasted nuts, fennel, oily citrus, vanilla biscuits, and a medicinal hint. The finish is a blend of apples, kiwi, vanilla oak, peat smoke, sea breeze, briny notes, orchard fruit, savory peat, sea salt, and a touch of peat.
