The Glenallachie Cuvee Cask Finish

 Harmonious marriage of whisky matured in barriques which previously held premium red wine. The finest casks were hand-picked from the French AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) regions of Languedoc and Médoc whilst, across the border, Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella barriques from Italy were sourced to host our honeyed spirit.

Bursting with pastel fruits on the nose with heather honey and dried red berries, hints of ginger, caramelised biscuit and soft spice. On the palate, layers of orchard fruits, orange zest and honeycomb, followed by notes of plum syrup, figs and glazed cherries, with a touch of cinnamon, ginger and red berries on the finish.
