Terra D'Alter AB Alicante Bouschet

The Alicante Bouschet grapes are harvested at peak ripeness to capture the full-bodied fruit flavours and robust tannins typical of Alto Alentejo wines made from this variety. Extended skin contact during fermentation, followed by 14 months of oak aging, enhances the wine's depth and complexity.

Tasting notes: This deep purple-red wine shows rich aromas of dark fruits and spices mingled with subtle floral hints. The palate offers concentrated flavours of plums and prunes, balanced by lively acidity and firm structure. The tannins are smooth and luxurious, leading to a lingering finish that reveals notes of chocolate and vanilla.

AB pairs well with a variety of bold dishes, including Indian curry, grilled lamb chops, hearty beef stew, bison burgers, and veal dishes.
