Tenuta Il Cascinone Fontanino Riesling

To achieve a slow ripening of the Riesling grapes that make Il Il Cascinone Fontanino, the vines were planted in 2002 on an east facing slope and are grown in the coolest vineyard site, from the one hectare 'Fontanino' plot of the 60 ha Il Cascinone estate in the Monferrato area of north west Italy

Tasting notes: An elegant, delicate, classic dry Riesling with aromas of lime, crunchy green apple, and a note of lemongrass. The palate is fresh and incisive with lemon peel character and mineral notes to add complexity to the finish. Great with fish, chicken, crisp salads, or pork dishes.
