Stoneburn Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Stoneburn is a very small vineyard in the heart of Marlborough. The vines are planted in an old riverbed. At night a warm microclimate is created as the stones lose their heat. To cultivate the grapes in this manner ensures that the wine produced expresses the terroir of the vineyards and the natural flavours of the grapes. Poor soil quality and low yielding vines create an environment that produces fruit with incredible intensity and flavour. It has a powerful, exotic nose with gooseberry, passion fruit and elderflower notes. The palate is of intense tropical fruit blending with greener notes of capsicum. The finish is ripe, crisp and long.
