This old vine Carignan from Wellington is produced with minimal intervention. With fruit coming from the oldest Carignan vineyard in South Africa, the fruit is naturally fermented before spending around a year in French oak barrels.
It produces floral notes with a grassy freshness on the palate. It produces red fruits and plums with gentle spice from aging in French oak. Pour a glass at your next barbecue or alongside a rich stew.
