Suntory Roku Gin
Polite notice: Vintages and aesthetic properties of products may vary from time to time. For specifics please contact us.
Created at Beam Suntory's Osaka-based distillery, Roku - meaning 'six' in Japanese - contains six Japanese botanicals: sakura flower, sakura leaf, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, sansho pepper and yuzu peel, along with eight imported botanicals.
Each Japanese botanical is steeped and distilled in a variety of pot stills to extract the best possible flavour before being blended my master distiller Kazuyuki Torii.
The bottle itself is hexagonal shape - a nod to the gin's six key ingredients - and features a label made from washi paper, with bold calligraphy.
Earthy and vegetal, with a light whisper of fruity sweetness hiding underneath. Peppery notes develop on the finish.
Country: Japan
ABV: 43%
