The white clay and limestone-influenced soils here produce a crisp, red fruit style of wine. The palest of Roagna’s wines but also the most attractive. A gorgeous pale pink colour is reflected by a perfumed, attractive nose of soft roses and ripe red berries. This is both elegant and vital – energetic, high-definition flavours of wild strawberries glide seamlessly across the palate. Stunning. Vinified for 100 days on the skins before ageing for 5 years in a mixture of large used wooden barrels and cement tanks.
