Esporao Reserva Branco

Herdade do Esporao have been producing wines in the heart of the Alentejo (180km south of Lisbon) since 1987 - and were awarded the prestige "Winery of the Year" early in 2009 for their hard work in 2008, which they also won in 2003. The first to do a double! Reserva Branco is a blend of Antao Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro aged in new American and French oak barrels and mtured on fine lees. The wine has a ripe tropical character with citrus notes and subtle vanilla oak complexity. Intense and full bodied with good depth of fruit, finishing long with balancing acidity. Serve with cod dishes, fried food or roasts.
