Situated on the outskirts of Auckland and taking its name from the native Puriri tree, Puriri Hills is the dream of owner/wine maker Judy Fowler who aims to produce wines in the style of Right Bank Bordeaux.
The Mokoro harnesses the young vines on their estate to produce a wine with a ripe and elegant nose with aromas of red and black cherry, tobacco and cedar, and fine, well-structured tannins.
