Produttori del Barbaresco, Barbaresco (Magnum)

The Produttori de Barbaresco oversees 100 hectares of vineyards within the Barbaresco DOCG appellation, primarily in Barbaresco village itself. In exceptional vintages, when grape quality is uniformly high, the historic crus are vinified separately. The Barbaresco blend then comprises grapes from the remaining vineyards. In standard years, cru wines are not produced, and these superior grapes enhance the main Barbaresco blend. This approach, coupled with the diverse vineyard sites, ensures that the Produttori's Barbaresco consistently represents the vintage's true character, achieving harmony and balance.

This wine exhibits a ruby red hue and intense aromas of concentrated, ripe red and black fruits. The fruit bouquet is remarkably deep, complemented by herbal and medicinal nuances. On the palate, it's exquisite—silky, rounded, and textured—featuring red and black fruits, floral notes, and hints of liquorice. Firm, ripe tannins are balanced by refreshing acidity, with lingering dried cherry notes. Recommended pairing: simple pasta dishes and meat entrées.
