Wolf and Woman Pinotage

The Pinotage revolution continues at pace. Say goodbye to dusty tannins and smoky, chocolatey flavours and say hello to wild flowers, blackberries and plums. The tannins are crisp, unforced and the wine offers up impressive complexity and definition through the dark cherry stones, wild herbs and sweet earth notes that complement its clear acidity. Fermented spontaneously and with 20% whole bunches, the remainder of the grapes are uncrushed and added as whole berries, producing juicy, attractive fruit. Sourced from a 49 year old dry-farmed vineyard in the Paardeberg on pure granite soils, imparting further freshness and fine boned tannins. Just 680 bottles produced and bottled at an impressive 12% ABV.
