Pianerosse Negromaro

Cantina Paolo Leo, now in its fifth generation, is located in San Donaci, a wine-producing village in Salento. The estate's history dates back to the early 1900s when Antonio Leo began making wine from grapes grown at "Masseria Monticello." Over the years, continuous investments have transformed the winery into a state-of-the-art facility, boasting a 120,000 hectoliter wine production capacity and a barrel room containing 1,000 French and American oak barriques.

Pianerosse Negroamaro is a deep ruby red with violet hints. It produces pronounced aromas of ripe red fruit, currant jam, and raspberries alongside hints of black pepper and plums. This is a full-bodied, well-balanced wine with a fruity, spicy finish. Pour a glass alongside roasted meats, rich mushroom dishes, or risotto with roasted vegetables.
