Paolo Petrilli's wines are produced exclusively from organic estate-grown grapes, with quality improving annually as the vines mature. The vineyards, spanning 11 hectares, are situated on a south-facing calcareous hillside surrounded by the estate buildings and natural vegetation. Nero di Troia is the primary grape variety, complemented by Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Aglianico, and Bombino.
Following organic and vegan practices in the vineyards as well as in the winery, where spontaneous fermentation is followed by maturation in either stainless steel or untoasted French oak without synthetic chemicals or animal-derived products being used.
Paolo Petrilli's "Agramante" is a blend of Nero di Troia, Bombino, Sangiovese, and Montepulciano grapes. This organic red wine is intense, spicy, and elegant, with aromas of ripe red fruit, complemented by balsamic and spicy notes. The palate follows the nose, offering a full-bodied experience with more ripe red fruit backed by present yet delicate tannins.
