Cantine Paolo Leo, now in its fifth generation, is located in San Donaci, a wine-producing village in Salento. The estate's history dates back to the early 1900s when Antonio Leo began making wine from grapes grown at "Masseria Monticello." Over the years, continuous investments have transformed the winery into a state-of-the-art facility, boasting a 120,000 hl wine production capacity and a barrel room containing 1000 French and American oak barriques.
Pianerosse Verdeca exhibits a bright green-tinged yellow colour with aroma notes of apple, citrus, and white fruits. On the palate, it's fresh and salty, culminating in a long, elegant finish. This wine complements Salento's typical fish, shellfish, and seafood dishes. It also shines as an aperitif or paired with appetizers featuring mild cheeses, lightly cured meats, and vegetables.
