Nerello Mascalese is most commonly found growing on the foothills of Mount Etna in Sicily, the variety represents outstanding value & when at is best is often compered to top quality Pinot Noir.
This example from Paolini is a great place to start if you havent tried the grape before, velvety soft with subtle perfumed notes & juicy black cherry, raspberry & spice across the palate.
