Wonderfully blush pink colour. Aromas of subtle strawberry and raspberry with a touch of fresh brioche. The palate is refined with freshness and balanced acidity. Blended from Pinot Noir 55%, Chardonnay 42%, and Pinot Meunier 3%, this traditionally bottle fermented wine is stored on lees for 36 months.
After we’d chilled it overnight, we drank it late morning on Christmas Day. I’m no connoisseur but it uncorked with a decent pressure against my hand with a satisfying squashy pop. Beautiful pale pink like salmon and a slight champagne aroma. Quite a tangy taste and very pleasant on the tongue. Easily enjoyed 2 glass full’s, a good start to the Yuletide festivities!
