This is a brilliant 2018 Pommard from Marchand Tawse, laced with delicious red fruits, raspberry and strawberry both fight for your attention. The spine is savoury, leathery in places but working in brilliant harmony with the fruit rather than against it. There's a really appealing rustic quality too with a keen line of acidity that holds everything in place. Thoroughly enjoyable, old school Burgundy.
