Maison Antech Cuvee Eugenie Cremant De Limoux

The absolute best in the business when it comes to Limoux Cremant, Maison Antech can trace their roots back as far as the 1800's and this is certainly one of their best wines. Made in homage to Eugénie Limouzy, great aunt of Georges and Rogers Antech. George’s daughter Francoise is now the 6th generation to be in charge of this family estate. Light and and wonderfully moreish yes, but this is far from a generic sparkling wine that could be from anywhere and is very much a legitimate cheaper alternative to Champagne, with underlying biscuity notes on the clean, very dry palate.
