Known for the versatility in the range of whisky styles produced, Loch Lomond was founded in 1965. The malts produced at Loch Lomond are rarely bottled as single malts, instead being used for blends, resulting in only the truly exceptional casks being bottled.
Loch Lomond 12-year-old is a perfect representation of the distillery's signature style. Non-chill filtered and aged in 3 different styles of American oak casks. You are greeted by crisp green apples, ripe pears, and refreshing citrus on the nose alongside toasted notes of golden cereal. The palate opens up to more orchard fruits and lemon meringue, and a light biscuit sweetness, finishing with a gentle wood smoke and a lingering tang.
