Ledaig 9 Year Old Bordeaux Red Wine Cask

This is a fantastic Ledaig release, fully matured in Bordeaux  barrels it's nose is rich and heady with smoked fudge, eucalyptus oil and carbolic soap. The palate has aromatic notes of burning heather and pine cones, grape skins, melons and wood smoked meats, amazing complexity. The smoke starts to drift on the finish, some floral notes develop and finally a flash of lime pastilles.
