Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th Century-style quarter casks, European oak hogsheads and new American oak. Bold peat smoke on the nose with notes of stewed fruit and warm, toasted vanilla. More heady peat smoke on the palate with oak embers, hints of seaweed, pine and smooth buttercream. A long lingering finish with yet more peat and hints of salty liquorice.
