Hatozaki 12 Year Old Umeshu Cask Finish

12-year-old malt whisky from Hatozaki that was initially matured in American oak casks, before being finished for six months in specially-selected Japanese Umeshu liqueur Barrels. Honey, lychee, cherry blossom, lavender, vanilla and violets all on show in what could be considered a Japanese whisky bargain, baring in mind that Hakushu and Yamazki 12 year old expressions will set you back more than double the price of Hatozaki!
