Groote Post Pinch of Salt Chardonnay

Groote Post is a historic family-owned estate located on the hills of Darling along South Africa's west coast. Originally operating as a farm from the 18th century, they are now renowned for producing exceptional wines that reflect the estate's unique terroir and rich history.

With a unique aging blend of 50% stainless steel, 30% French oak, and 20% in amphoras, this creates a wine with great layers of flavor and depth. After fermentation, the wine is rested on lees for 6 months to further develop before bottling.

Producing an abundance of fresh ripe stone fruit and bright citrus on the nose, accompanied by yellow stone fruits and a long zesty acidity on the palate with a concentrated structure and beautiful minerality. Perfect alongside simple fish cakes and a light salad with a balsamic vinaigrette.
