Capovilla Grappa di Bassano

Capovilla are extraordinary producers of those clear European spirits that beguile us with their aromatics, stealth and in the case of Capovilla, a perilous drinkability that cannot be said about many grappas. The sourcing of the base musts and fruit is equally important to them, if not more so, than the actual distilling itself. The fruit is tracked down from a vast array of tiny farms, often only growing in volumes that would be more appropriate for domestic use.
