Founded in 1825, Glenkinchie is located just 15 miles from the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, and has produced whisky for over 200 years. They are one of the original 5 lowland distillers and one of the very few who continued production during the Second World War. Even though they have great renown, most of their production goes into blends, with roughly only 10% being used for their aged single malt expressions.
Glenkinchie 12 is a bright gold in colour with a light and smooth character. Floral aromas giving way to vanilla, cut grass and fresh citrus. On the palate, it is soft, sweet and smooth with the floral and citrus tones continuing.
