Since its founding in 1883, Glengoyne has maintained its commitment to time and craftsmanship. Aged in a first-fill sherry cask, Glengoyne 18 is a perfect example of the refined style that they produce. unpeated, natural colour and non-chill filtered, it really is a celebration of expression that is Glengoyne.
On the nose, you are greeted by waves of red apples and ripe melon, then mellowing into hot porridge topped with brown sugar. The palate is full-bodied and rich, starting with macerated fruits, marzipan and walnuts, then warm spices, dry cocoa and a lingering note of marmalade.
