Glenfarclas 12 Year Old

On the nose there's creamy oak and a touch of smokey honey with the sherry influence beginning to build. The palate has a lovely weight to it, not light but not heavy either, just right. There's a crisp note of green fruit with a drizzle of toffee sauce underpinned with a nutty, spicy-sweet cinnamon character. A fantastic expression of Glenfarclas, it's got all the drinkablity of the 10 year old but with deeper, more mature sherried notes.
