Dating back to the 1830s, Glen Scotia is one of the few remaining distilleries in Campbeltown. Steeped in history, full of rises and falls, the distillery still produces using traditional methods to create the unique Campbeltown whisky that we all love.
Glen Scotia double cask is an excellent introduction to Glen Scotia and Campbeltown whiskies, matured in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished for 12 months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
On the nose, aromas of creme caramel, toffee, apple, peaches and sea spray. On the palate, it has rich spiced fruit notes accompanied by sweet fudge, ending with notes of vanilla and a gentle spice.
