Gerd Stepp Mineralstien Cabernet Franc

Having returned to his family farm in Bad Dürkheim in the Pfalz region, Gerd Stepp now runs a small winery alongside running his family's vineyard. After making wine around the globe, his technical winemaking skills combined with commercial experience allow him to produce a range of wines that are of great value and quality, truly representing the expression of these grape varieties and his region.

Cabernet Franc is a relatively new addition to Gerd's small portfolio of wines; however, this vineyard is one of the oldest Cabernet Franc vineyards in the Pfalz. Producing aromas of crunchy red fruits with a peppery note and a silky tannin structure, medium-bodied with a lively acidity. A perfect wine to drink alongside smoky BBQ dishes or tomato-based dishes.
