With roots dating back to 1870, Francesco Rinaldi is seen as a true great Italian house. Located in the heart of Barolo, their wines are renowned for their tradition and their focus on single vineyard expressions. They believe that each plot of land has its own unique story and it is their job to express this through their wines.
Macerated in stainless steel vats for five days before being fermented for another 10 days and then aged for a further 6 months in 1000L Slavonian oak casks before bottling.
The colour is an intense ruby red. Fragrant with notes of roses, raspberries and wild strawberries, the palate shows a dry, full-bodied wine with a great tannin structure. Pair alongside a rich tagliatelle al ragù.
