The latest bottling from Foursquare Rum Distillery in St Phillip, Barbados. The twenty-third release (Mark XXIII) in the award-winning Limited Edition Exceptional Cask Selection series, and at eighteen years old, it is the oldest distillery released bottling to date.

A Single Blended Rum in that it is a blend of heavy and light marques of Rums distilled in the copper double retort pot-still and the continuous twin column stills of Foursquare Distillery.Entirely matured, blended, and bottled in Barbados, and presented at 58% alcohol by volume, without chill-filtration, at its natural colour, and free from sweeteners and other flavourings.

Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon cask American white oak, this long-aged bottling was formed from a blend ofRums distilled in 2004 and 2005. An initial spell of ten years in cask led to it being vatted, and then after a considered reduction in alcoholic strength, it was re-casked for a further eight years before being bottled.
