The current head of the maison, Gerard Briottet, represents the fourth generation of the family and continues the tradition started by his great grandfather, Edmond Briottet, in 1836 at 12 rue Berlier in Dijon, France. These are some of the most highly regarded liqueurs by bartenders and restaurateurs worldwide and are of superb quality.
This liqueur shows the the perfect, tangy side of the grapefruit, the palate is refreshig and shows a great balance between sweetness and bitterness. Try on it own, in cocktails or as a repalcement for creme de cassis in a Kir. It also works fantastically mixed with some ice cold rosé, ice and a slice of lime.
