Founded shortly after 1946 by Guy Larue, Domaine Larue is now a third-generation producer located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. While they don't claim to be organic or biodynamic, they borrow many of their practices and aim to have as little intervention on the land as possible, resulting in allowing the fruit to be a true reflection of the terroir.
Hand-harvested into small crates, the grapes are lightly crushed before being settled and fermented in oak barrels. Ageing for 10 months on fine lees, the wine is lightly filtered and bottled. Producing aromas of white flowers alongside a subtle oakiness, the palate is well-rounded with great balance and length. Pair alongside flamed grilled lobster and langoustine or a rich risotto with a cream sauce.
