Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits St George 2021

There's a lovely balance between freshness and power with Gouges' Nuit. The red fruit is spread generously across the palate with upfront strawberry, cherry and raspberry firmly on show before more gamey, earthy, leathery notes begin to wrap around the fruit. The tannin structure is robust yet still very approachable in it's youth. Further aging will clearly come with its rewards.
