Domaine de Bellene Meursault les Forges 2021

Very classically styled Meursault, deeply complex with layer upon layer of compelling complexity. Flavours of buttery pear tart initially wrap the palate, decadent and rich but with a clean, cleansing lemon citrus back bone, beautifully balanced and very pure. Richly textured with a subtle hum of roasted honey-glazed walnuts and a baking spice lead finish. Wonderful structure, time in the cellar will accentuate deeper maturity, earlier drinking will reward with a fresher, keener profile.
