The Daftmill 2009 Summer Batch is a very pleasant lowland malt from the masters at this young but well-regarded distillery. This has nice notes of fruit, vanilla, and a bit of spice to it. A smooth feel in the mouth, with plenty of that vanilla, and a bit of that spice, along with fresh cereal notes. A really enjoyable dram.
