Wonderfully mellow and immediately sweet & winey and fruity but then then dense and more mysterious, with a thin vale of smoke later on. The palate is firm and lightly oily in texture, sweet to start and soft with more juicy hints of wine and fruit. The sweetness is perfectly balanced by light wood-spice on a subtle smoky backdrop. Lovely length on the finish, tingling and drying, while still appetisingly spicy, the oakiness wraps everything up beautifully with vanilla and cocoa.

This was a gift for my brother-in-law and I needed it to arrive in time and it did, beautifully protected. Just what I had hoped for. Whether he likes it or not, will remain to be seen!
