Stunning old school Convalmore distilled in 1984 and bottled for Diageo's 2017 Special Releases at its pure, natural cask strength of 48.2%. Just 3972 bottles of this 32-year-old Convalmore were released from American oak hogsheads.
Sweet and spicy in character, picture a fresh buttery croissant dusted with brown sugar and cinnamon than at the last minute someone squeezes a ripe lemon over the top to straight though the richness.
This is one of the worlds true whisky treasures from one of the great lost distilleries of Speyside.
