Born in 2000 from a passion for pushing boundaries, the team at Compass Box spent over two decades proving that blending whisky is an art form — one worth getting excited about.

Neither distillers nor traditional blenders, they call themselves Whiskymakers, and the title is earned, as for Compass Box, exceptional whisky isn't a happy accident — it's the result of deliberate imagination, meticulous craft, and an unrelenting desire to reinvent rather than repeat.

Crimson Casks delivers on the rich promise of sherry and red wine casks with intense chocolate, plum jam and redcurrant character.

Including malt whiskies from Glen Moray, Benrinnes, Teaninich and the mysterious distillery near the town of Aberlour (?), Crimson Casks is full-on chocolate fudge cake undercut with clove and cardamom, braced by hints of plum jam and redcurrant jelly, rich cherry, toffee and oak, and finishing with raisin, honey and brown sugar.
