Fernando de Castilla Classic Dry Amontillado

A highly versatile dry to medium sherry with a tangy, nutty concentrated flavour and a pale golden colour.  Flatteringly sweet at first but it eases into semi dry on the finish displaying delicious sensations on the way. 

Fernando de Castillo is a small independent sherry house revitalised by a Norwegian called Jan Pettersen in 1999.  He soon established Fernando de Castilla as masters of the production and ageing of fine, unblended, untreated sherries.  Other sherries to look at are their Classic Fino and Classic Manzanilla.
