Chateau Fargueirol Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc

Château Fargueirol basks in its exceptional location in the north of the Appellation, surrounded by vines at a slight altitude with a splendid view of Mont Ventoux, the Rhône river and the castle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Château Fargueirol is one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's oldest estates. It was mentioned as early as the 17th Century in the archives of the village. It then belonged to the Revoltier family, who owned, under the direct jurisdiction of the Archbishop of Avignon, a farm surrounded by vineyards, the birthplace of the present domain. The Revoltier family left Fargueirol during the French Revolution and settled in Courthezon, and nearly 200 years passed before the family was back.

Hand-picked at optimum maturity over a 1.5-hectare plot, this white is delicate with intense notes of white flowers and honeysuckle and a slight saline note that provides a nice balance.
