Named due to the steep slopes of the hillside and in ode to the women who worked the vineyard, the grapes are hand harvested and sorted before cold maceration and fermentation, following ageing in oak barrels for 9 months and then in tank for a further month, resulting in an expressive and powerful Pinot Noir. On the nose with notes of ripe black fruits and spices, on the palate it is well balanced and provides a persistent freshness typical of the terroir. Pair alongside grilled rich meats or Burgundian snails.
