Located on the moors and slopes of eastern part of the Ribera del Duero, the extraordinary altitudes (between 900-1000m above sea level) provides a freshness to the wines of Cesar Munoz.
Produced from the exclusive micro plots of the Magallanes Vineyard, this old vine single-variety Tempranillo is aged in French oak for approximately 20 months. Producing aromas of intense ripe red fruit with fresh coffee and spices. On the palate strong tannin and acidity is offset with notes of fruit jam and an intense and lingering finish of toasted and smokey notes, this wine is proud and powerful now and will develop beautifully over the next decade if cellared carefully.
