Les Roulants Carignan Merlot is an appealing easy drinking fruity wine made by the very capable co-operative Les Vignobles Foncalieu offers. The fruity palate leads to a touch of spice in the finish. A good introduction to French reds it is well suited to red meat dishes but can be enjoyed on its own.
